ASICS – Innovation Summit (Your Lab)

A PERSONALISED VIRTUAL WORLD, BUILT AROUND YOU

To launch ASICS’ first-ever fully personalised Innovation Summit, Solarflare Studio partnered with Edelman to create ‘Your Lab’ — a real-time virtual reality experience designed around the user’s biodata, delivered directly to media and VIPs across the globe.

At the heart of the experience was a custom-built VR world shaped by live biometric input. Using wearable heart rate monitors, the environment reacted in real time to users’ physical and emotional states — adapting the colours, lighting, soundscape, and interaction levels to reflect one of four conditions: Calm, Energised, Active, or Focused.

Solarflare led the full production — overseeing environment design, UX architecture, motion capture shoots, 3D asset development, and voiceover casting. We sourced and directed talent for the AI Coach, created intuitive navigation via a wrist-based UI, and integrated real-time data handling within Unity to create a seamless, personalised experience.

The experience also featured interactive pods, gaze-based content triggers, and dynamic architectural elements inspired by human anatomy — all tied together through a figure-of-eight layout that ensured users could always re-centre and explore at their own pace.

Shipped globally on headsets, and distributed with full documentation and onboarding support, ‘Your Lab’ set a new benchmark for personalised VR brand experiences — putting ASICS’ human-centric design philosophy into motion.
