Bringing MOL’s sustainable vision to life

As part of MOL Group’s sustainable 2030+ vision, Pulse Group engaged us to deliver the technical realisation of three interactive experiences for the new MOL Campus Visitor Centre in Budapest. Our role was to transform their conceptual designs into engaging, future-focused installations — from robotic AR stations to interactive games — each telling the story of MOL’s ecological ambitions.

In the central atrium, we built Future is Now — a robotic arm installation with three OLED screens mounted on custom 3D-printed fittings. Using Azure Kinect sensors, the arms tracked visitor movements, allowing them to navigate AR hotspots that revealed the building’s green and smart credentials. This was supported by a bespoke UI, coded to synchronise robot positioning with hand gestures for a seamless, responsive experience.

Elsewhere, a large-format Energy Fuelled Transformation installation combined ultra-wide multi-touch LED displays with motion graphics, video, and photography, presented in an interactive helix that encouraged multiple users to explore MOL’s energy and mobility strategies.

For younger visitors, we created MOL-e the Molecule — a child-friendly game across three vertical touchscreens. Players explored how green energy is generated, waste is repurposed, and circular economies thrive, earning rewards like planting a virtual tree in the MOL forest.

Launched in March 2023, these permanent installations now form a core part of the MOL Campus experience — blending robotics, AR, and playful storytelling to make sustainable innovation tangible for all ages.
